What the price gap buys

About US$50 separates the two private two-day listings, and the more expensive one names its inclusions in more detail - lunch specified, the eco-tourism fee itemised, 96 reviews behind it against nine here.

That is the trade: this listing is cheaper and less proven. Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start makes it inexpensive to try, and the six guiding languages are a genuine advantage for anyone who would rather not spend two days being guided in their second language.

Brazil first, Argentina second

The listing's own itinerary starts with a 40-minute drive from Foz do Iguaçu into the national park, which is the standard opening: the Cataratas trail, the panorama of the Argentine falls opposite and the walkway below the Garganta do Diabo.

Day two crosses the Tancredo Neves bridge for the Argentine circuits. The Ecological Train, the Upper Circuit and the Lower Circuit are all inside the park ticket; the Devil's Throat catwalk has been closed since 3 August 2026 and is not.

Where to put the boat

On the Brazilian morning, in most cases. Macuco Safari costs R$384, leaves every twenty minutes and needs no advance slot, so it slots into a day that is already in that park.

Gran Aventura on the Argentine side is the longer run - 6 km upriver and into San Martín - at AR$100,000, with fixed departures and a minimum age of 12. Ask the operator which they book before you decide which morning to keep free.

Planning a 2-day trip to Iguazu Falls from Buenos Aires

The flight from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú takes under two hours and lands you on the Argentine side; the equivalent from Rio or São Paulo lands at Foz do Iguaçu. A two-day trip from Buenos Aires therefore works best as: fly in the evening before, one park a day, fly out on the third morning. Both parks price the second day cheaply - Argentina sells a reduced second consecutive day, Brazil discounts a two-day ticket by 40 per cent.

This listing starts in Foz do Iguaçu, so a Buenos Aires traveller either flies into Foz directly or crosses the border to the Brazilian side on arrival. If you would rather keep both nights in Puerto Iguazú, the Argentine-side listings on this site do the same job from that direction, and the boat is bought at the counter either way. What no itinerary from Buenos Aires can add is a different boat: the two concessions are the same two everybody books.

One caution on packaged multi-day trips sold from the capital: the flights and hotels are the product, not the falls. Booking the day locally, as the listings here do, keeps the boat decision - and the refund if the river stops it - in your hands.

Six languages, and why that is rare

German, French, Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese. Two days is a long time to spend being guided in a language you half follow, and this listing and its sibling from the same operator are the only ones here offering that spread.

The listing is also marked wheelchair accessible and states skip-the-line entry through a separate gate. Boat access is a separate question - the Macuco deck's accessibility changes with river conditions, so confirm it rather than assume it.
